Rahul- Social class master: There is one more social class mentioned a lot more in the chapter. I think the sailor would be a higher class, because they are kind of like merchants. A merchant would make more money, so they are higher socially.

this chapter Ranofer, Hequet, and Ancient go and spy on Gebu, and Wenamon. When Ranofer is at home he goes in to Gebus room and finds a golden goblet. So he thinks to himself for a little while and realizes that the only place where you can get such fine gold like this is from a tomb. Now Ranofer knows that this is why Gebu comes home late at night because he is robbing when everybody is a sleep. But then he thinks to himself how does he do it there are guards at night protecting robbers to go in to the tomb. but after Ranofer puts back the golden goblet back in Gebus room Ranofer see's something on the ground finally he realizes that it is clay and marked with a clear print of Gebus ring which is now half broken. One glance at the ring and Gebu would know that Ranofer was in his room.

Shea-summarizer: Ranofer has already discovered that Gebu had robbed a tomb because he found a golden goblet in Gebu's room. He planned to go show it to someone to prove that Gebu stole it. However, the goblet is not in Gebu's room anymore because he moved it. Ranofer has decided not to tell Heqet or Ancient about any of this. Now Ranofer is looking everywhere to try and find the goblet. Meanwhile, Heqet and Ancient continue with their spying.

Tremulous: nervous and shaking
Insolent: rude, arrogant or lack of respect There are a few social classes that I have found in this book. There are the pharaohs, which are the highest class. The pharaohs rule. They are very respected members of society. Next is probably the social class Heqet is in, which is a richer and higher-than-average social class. Then, there is Ranofer class, which I guess is a worker. He belongs to a lower class compared to Heqet. Finally, at the end of the chapter, Ranofer mentions being a slave, which is obviously the lowest class, and he does not want to be a slave. Finally, Ranofer began to work with the gold, instead of pouring ingots, He is creating golden leafs, which his father has taught him to fashion. Ranofer has also made friend with Heqet, who also works for Rekht, the master goldsmith. He has also told Ibni that Gebu does not like the wine that Ibni gives him, stopping Ibni from stealing gold.A sarcophagus, which is what they were making at the beginning of the chapter, is a large, stone coffin that is usually above the ground.
